NonProfit #2: Sarah helped the Executive Director revamp an annual fundraising campaign with new promotional materials and messaging, earning a 58% increase in donations from the previous year.
Federal Government Client: Sarah developed a “Did You Know?” series that increased enrollment in under-used programs by 31% over six months and tripled web traffic for those programs as information was released.
For a decade in Washington, DC, Sarah provided communications support at the highest levels. She developed content for public-facing materials as an aide for a Member of Congress, at the White House and the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). She coordinated media logistics for Presidential events, prepared executive remarks, supported media relations and developed web content. At a large management consulting firm, Sarah supported government programs by leading campaigns, event communications strategies, annual communication plans, policy launches, media outreach and more. She also taught the strategic communications training class for incoming consultants in the firm’s practice group of more than 600 communicators.
